Leeds United suffered their first defeat of the season at the hands of Brighton, with the Seagulls narrowly beating the Whites 1-0 at the AMEX Stadium.
The Whites were second best for large stages of the first half with Brighton creating the better chances and eventually received their just reward as Pascal Gross found the bottom corner in the 66th minute to open the scoring on the south coast.
Jesse Marsch had named an unchanged starting lineup from the team that thrashed Chelsea 3-0 last weekend, keeping Luis Sinisterra waiting for his full Premier League debut, but the American’s side couldn’t find the same performance levels down in Sussex.

Sinisterra was introduced as a second half substitute shortly before Gross' winner when he replaced Daniel James, while the likes of Mateusz Klich, Adam Forshaw and Joe Gelhardt also got on the pitch, but to no avail.
