A girl who was loooking at her phone while crossing the street in Philadelphia had a lucky escape after being run down by a Mack truck.
Surveillance video from Ivonne Jewelry in the northeast of the city shows the youngster crossing in front of the vehicle which then starts moving, forcing the girl along the street before she disappears underneath.
Good Samaritans ran to help and, after her freeing her hair from beneath one of the wheels, the girl emerged relatively unscathed.
Witnesses say the girl, who appeared between 14 and 16 years old, managed to keep hold of her phone during the harrowing incident.
