An 11-year-old girl suffering from an 'Alzheimer's style' illness has lost her ability to talk as her harrowing condition continues to take a toll.
Sophia Scott was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome in 2015 after her parents Darren, 43 and Amanda, 45, noticed differences in her development.
The rare genetic condition is a type of childhood dementia which also causes fatal brain damage.
