Gio van Bronckhorst's Rangers injury update as he reveals 'the biggest change' for Kilmarnock test

Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has confirmed the return of Alfredo Morelos for their league match with Kilmarnock on Saturday.

The Dutchman had rung the SOS siren for their Colombian forward after he missed Tuesday's 2-0 Champions League third round qualifier first leg defeat against Belgian club Union-Saint Gilloise. Van Bronckhorst hopes to have Morelos involved for the return leg at Ibrox next Tuesday and in his bid to make that pivotal fixture, he will be involved this weekend in their first Premiership home match of the season.

Derek McInnes' men will prove a challenge for Rangers to overcome but the Light Blues boss has announced extra ammunition is at their disposal. He said: “The squad is looking good. The biggest change will be Alfredo will be in the squad. He’s been training really hard with the team and he’s ready to be in the squad for tomorrow and hopefully, play some minutes as well.”
