Gini Wijnaldum has set the record straight on his current position at PSG, insisting he remains happy at the French side despite a lack of game time.
The Dutch midfielder left Liverpool last summer after a successful five-year period at the club.
Since moving to the French capital, the 31-year-old has struggled to establish himself as a first-choice option in midfield due to strong competition in this area of the pitch.

Shortly after making his transfer switch, Wijnaldum admitted he was not 'completely happy' with his situation at the club but has now clarified said comments.
Speaking to the official PSG magazine, he said: “The fact is, when I did this interview, I was just a little disappointed with the way things were going in sporting terms at the start of the season, on a personal level.
"During this period many thought that I wasn’t happy at the club when I actually was. I was simply not happy with the playing time that I was being given at that time. A journalist asked me: ‘Are you satisfied with your playing time?’ No, I wasn’t. I think any player who spends more time sitting on a bench than on the pitch won’t be fulfilled by that situation.
"The media interpreted my words by saying that I wasn’t happy at PSG, which was absolutely not the case.”
The ex-Reds midfielder has played a part in 20 of PSG's 25 league fixtures this term, though on only 12 occasions has he been named in the starting eleven.
Wijnaldum was an used substitute for his side's recent Champions League triumph over Real Madrid and has completed the full 90 minutes in just one European fixture this campaign (Club Brugge).
Adamant that he and his team-mates are still 'getting to know' each other, the PSG summer recruit has called for patience from supporters.
“It takes time to form a good team, you have to get to know each other," he stressed.
"Given the resources at the club, everyone expects us to win everything but that’s not how it works. I can speak from experience because I joined a team under construction when I signed for Liverpool."
