While former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas is unlikely to actually pursue any legitimate comeback at age 41, he let the world know he hasn’t lost his ability to knock down the deep ball. And in the process, he had a quick message for LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, a team that certainly could use another outside shooter or two.
During a clip posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, Arenas posted himself knocking down 16 of 17 shots from three-point range in roughly 90 seconds. He also made 11 in a row after missing his first shot on the sixth attempt. With the video, Arenas posted a caption that read, “LeBron tell the Lakers to go ahead and gimme a 10-day [contract]. 🤣”

It was quite the display from the former NBA star, who earned the nickname “Agent Zero” and currently hosts Gil’s Arena, a show presented by Underdog Fantasy. Arenas was a career 35.1% three-point shooter, with his best season coming in 2003–04 with the Washington Wizards, when he knocked down 37.5% of his attempts from beyond the arc.
