Waller had been dealing with a hamstring issue for several weeks.

Only a few short series later, quarterback Tyrod Taylor went down along the sideline and had several Jets defenders land on him. It was clear he was in immediate pain and remained on the ground for quite some time.

When Taylor did finally get up, he sprinted to the sideline but collapsed again while holding his chest.

Giants trainers quickly rushed Taylor into the locker room as rookie Tommy DeVito assumed the starting role under center.

Taylor was transported to a local hospital and was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a ribs injury.

Quarterback Daniel Jones also remains sidelined, missing his third consecutive game as he recovers from a neck injury. The Giants are eyeing a potential Week 10 return.
