The 27-year-old Thomas (5’10, 205) was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Ferris State by the Arizona Cardinals in 2018. He was released during final cuts and signed by the Cleveland Browns.
Thomas played 45 games with three starts for the Browns before signing a two-year deal with the Texans in March 2021. Thomas played all 17 games in 2021 recording 83 tackles.
Thomas was limited to 10 games last season by a quad injury.
