Giants claim WR Isaiah Hodgins off waivers from Bills

The New York Giants didn’t make any moves at the trade deadline to add some much-needed help for their upcoming playoff stretch run.

However, they did add a wide receiver to the fold on Wednesday by claiming wideout Isaiah Hodgins, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound 2020 sixth-round draft pick out of Oregon State, off of waivers from the Buffalo Bills.

Hodgins is well known to Giants general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll from their time in Buffalo.

In three career games, Hodgins has caught four passes (six targets) for 41 yards and two first downs. He’s also taken a few special teams snaps.

Hodgins was released by the Bills on Monday. At Oregon State, he was a Biletnikoff Award semifinalist in 2018 and 2019.

Hodgins joins a group that consists of Kenny Golladay, Wan’Dale Robinson, Darius Slayton, David Sills and Marcus Johnson.
