Giannis Antetokounmpo broke a Bucks’ franchise record on Wednesday night vs. the Pacers by scoring 64 points, the most points scored in a single game in team history.
Michael Redd had held the record since the 2006 season when he scored 57 points, breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s previous franchise record.
Antetokounmpo’s record-breaking night also saw him crush his personal previous record for most points scored in a game (55). He also added 14 rebounds and four steals, but didn’t make any three-pointers in three attempts. He scored 24 points from free throws alone.
Fans in Fiserv Forum began chanting “MVP” at Antetokounmpo when he scored his 51st point, and those chants continued.
He scored his final points of the night by dunking the basketball to seal the win, causing the crowd to go wild.

Antetokounmpo’s final stat line saw him shoot 20-for-28 on field goal attempts, while connecting on 24-of-32 free throw attempts.
