Gianluca Scamacca, Nayef Aguerd - West Ham injury latest ahead of Brentford clash

Gianluca Scamacca Nayef Aguerd West Ham Brentford David Moyes EPL Arsenal Hammers West Ham United

West Ham United manager David Moyes has provided an injury update on striker Gianluca Scamacca and Nayef Aguerd ahead of Friday’s clash with Brentford.

Both were absent on Boxing Day for the Hammers ’ 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, with Scamacca missing with an ankle issue and Aguerd still overcoming a virus suffered while on duty with Morocco at the 2022 World Cup.

Speaking on the duo ahead of Friday’s home clash with Brentford, Moyes has said that Scamacca and Aguerd have outside chances of featuring, but admits he has tough calls to make on both.
