GFF 2026: India's fintech transformation a result of innovation, inclusion & trust coming together, says RBI's Sanjay Malhotra

Fintech’s biggest promise lies not merely in what technology can achieve, but in how widely its benefits can be felt across society, RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra said in his address at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) on September 10.

Malhotra said the GFF had evolved over the years from an industry forum into an important policy platform. RBI recognises the Unified FinTech Forum as the second fintech SRO, he said.
