Get paid to eat chocolate as Cadbury's is hiring a taster

You could get paid to eat chocolate as Mondelēz International, owner of Cadbury's, is hiring. It’s no secret that Brits are big fans of chocolate, so this job is perfect for any lucky chocolate lover. Mondelēz own well-loved chocolate brands such as Cadbury's Dairy Milk, a staple in many of our homes - making this role even more of a dream come true.

The job is based in Wokingham on a part-time basis, with shifts available Monday-Thursday for two hours or Tuesday – Thursday for 2.5 hours. Prospective applicants need to have a passion for food and be able to use their taste buds for detection of flavours, as they would be required to share honest feedback on products.

The job is currently live and accepting applicants here.

Charlotte Davies, Careers Expert at LinkedIn, said: “Taking time out of your week purely to taste chocolate - and getting paid for it - surely has to be every chocolate lover's dream. For those looking for a part-time role, or an additional job to gain new career skills, here are three top tips that could help you to stand out from the crowd and land your dream job.”

1. Identify your transferable skills. While some job descriptions are very specific about the skills required, this role is open to everyone. If you can tell your smooth and milky from your dark and bitter, you’re already on to a winner!

2. Coco-nfidence is key. It’s a unique role (with a lot of choco-fanatics to please!) – so very few applicants will have direct experience in similar roles. If this sounds like your dream job, be confident in your abilities and put your best foot forward in the application.

3. Keep your socials professional. Employers will most likely search for candidates online to check previous experience and get a better judge of character. So it’s important that your social channels are up to scratch. Make sure your LinkedIn profile is up to date and that your other public social channels don’t contain anything that could get you into truffle...
