Get ready to slip on your most comfortable kitten heels because Paris Fashion Week Fall 2024 is going to be more of a marathon than a sprint. The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode just released the provisional calendar and there's plenty to look forward to.
There'll be a grand total of 109 events between February 26 and March 5. That breaks down to 71 shows, 37 presentations and an introduction by the Institut Français de la Mode. Marie Adam-Leenaerdt kicks off the week with Louis Vuitton wrapping things up as it has in previous seasons.
This year sees the highly-anticipated return of Lacoste and Off-White to Paris. It also marks Nicolas Ghesquiè's 10th anniversary as Louis Vuitton's artistic director. Paris anchors like Saint Laurent, Christian Dior, Chanel and Miu Miu are in their usual time slots, while Victoria Beckham, Alexander McQueen and Mugler have shifted.
Noticeably absent from the lineup is Maison Margiela, but that's OK because the fashion house's recent haute couture experience will live in our hearts and minds forever.
