The best Hokkaido cuisine is being brought to please during "Emporium EmQuartier Japan Remix: Sugoi Hokkaido", which kicks off today and runs until Sunday, at Quartier Avenue, ground floor of EmQuartier, Sukhumvit Road.
Held in collaboration with Aeon Thana Sinsap, the annual Japanese festival is set under the theme "Blooming Summer" featuring the picturesque atmosphere of Hokkaido and special promotions from leading Japanese restaurants.
A range of Hokkaido delicacies and exclusive dishes from almost 30 Japanese dining establishments are being served at Quartier Avenue. They include Akimitsu Tendon, Kenji's Lab, Yakiniku Marukyu Ito, Shi-tori and Nitendo Ramen.
Alternatively, indulge in sumptuous dishes as part of "Emdining Japan Food Mania", which is running until May 31, at 20 restaurants such as Mugendai Penthouse, AKA Yakiniku, Hokkai-Don, and Maisen.
Then, stop by Emjoy on the 2nd floor for a lasting memory with a photo shoot of dressing up in traditional yukatas.
There will also be a Japanese comedy show at the Imax Theatre on the 4th floor, with free admission exclusively for Aeon cardholders, on Saturday at 2pm. Organised during the same time frame is the Japanese Film Fest 2023, which is screening a selection of eight Japanese movies and animations at Quartier Cineart, 4th floor.
The line-up includes Lupin III: The First, Your Name, Stand By Me Doraemon 2, Overdrive, Weathering With You, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba To The Swordsmith Village, Slime The Movie: Scarlet Bond, and Pornographer — Playback. Free tickets are available at the door.
