2024 wide receiver NiTareon “Nitro” Tuggle committed to Georgia in April, choosing the Bulldogs over Michigan, Penn State, Florida, and others.
At the time of his commitment, the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Nappanee, Indiana native was considered a three-star prospect in the class of 2024. He was ranked the No. 457 overall player and No. 67 wide receiver.
On Monday, though, 247Sports updated its rankings, and Tuggle enjoyed a huge boost to his standings in the class.
He’s now a 4-star, the nation’s No. 75 overall player and No. 13 ranked wide receiver in America.
Tuggle plans to take an official visit the University of Georgia on June 23-25. Tuggle will attend IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fl) for his senior season, transferring from his Indiana high school. Last year, at Northwood High School in Indiana, Tuggle recorded 38 catches for 821 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also added two rushing touchdowns, two passing touchdowns, and two return touchdowns.
On tape, Tuggle is an explosive athlete. The talented wide receiver makes sharp cuts and is a playmaker when he gets the football.
Tuggle shows the ability to track the ball well and is capable of making contested catches over defensive backs.
