TikTok just got to see some workplace drama unfold in real time when TikToker Tiffany from Georgia took to the platform to share an alleged story about a colleague facing an unexpected termination. With the first video getting over 10 million views, the community latched onto the story, and many were concerned about what the situation would mean for Tiffany.
“As the IT manager, I always know about any onboards or offboards before they happen, because they want to make sure that I revoke access to their emails,” she said. When her boss and the HR representative informed her to prepare for a confidential termination, Tiffany felt something was wrong, and very unfair. She noted, “I found out that the girl that they’re firing, she’s a really sweet girl. Like, she just got a raise, she just got promoted. Like, she does a great job at work.”
