The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to four-star edge rusher Zavion Griffin-Haynes. The four-star recruit, who is a member of the class of 2026, recently committed to the North Carolina Tar Heels.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound pass rusher plays high school football for Rolesville High School in Rolesville, North Carolina. Rolesville is one of the top football programs in North Carolina.
Griffin-Haynes is ranked as the No. 114 recruit in the country. The Rolesville star is the No. 11 edge rusher in the nation and the No. 9 recruit in North Carolina.
Head coach Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have been significantly more active on the recruiting trail during their bye week. Georgia has a bye on Sept. 21 ahead of the Bulldogs’ huge Sept. 28 road trip to play the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Georgia has three commitments in the class of 2026 including one from five-star quarterback Jared Curtis.
