Georgia Harrison paid tribute to her late ex-boyfriend Jake McLean in a post on social media last night, shortly after a funeral was held for him at a church in Essex yesterday.
Jake tragically died last month, aged 33, when the car that him and on-off girlfriend Yazmin Oukhellou, 28, were in overturned after plunging 30 feet into a ditch in Turkey.
His funeral was attended by the likes of his ex-girlfriend Lauren Goodger, 35 - with tributes also issued on social media amid the ceremony at St Thomas of Canterbury church.
This included posts by Love Island star Georgia, 27 - who had been in a "serious relationship" with Jake in the past. She took to Instagram to pay tribute to her ex-boyfriend.
She shared a selfie of them with star emojis over it. She also posted another photo of them together, with bandaged heart emojis on it and having written "RIP" in the corner.
Georgia also uploaded a short clip to the platform which showed them hugging as they posed for the camera. She was seen on his lap, whilst Jake grinned with a mouthful of food.
The former islander - who shared the posts on her Instagram Story - wrote alongside the footage of herself and her late ex-boyfriend: "You left a special mark on this earth."
It wasn't the only tribute that was paid by Georgia yesterday, with her having shared a series of emotional quotes on the social media platform ahead of the funeral service.
One post - which appeared to be about Jake - had read: "When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind."
"The light remains ... there are some who bring a light so great to the world, that even after they have gone, the light remains," another post on her account had read.
Georgia had previously shared her final texts with Jake and expressed her heartache at his death in a post shortly after it was announced that he had died last month.
In a statement, issued via a spokesperson, Georgia later expressed "regret" over sharing her feelings publicly.
The spokesperson said that Georgia and Jake had been "in a serious relationship in the past" and that they had been in "regular contact" during the time of his accident in July.
Jake died after he reportedly "lost control" of a vehicle whilst driving in Bodrum last month, with it said to have careered from the road and ended up going off a cliff.
He died at the scene whilst on-off girlfriend Yazmin managed to survive. She underwent surgery following the incident after sustaining injuries, including to her arm.
Yazmin paid tribute to Jake in a post yesterday, writing in it: "I've not stopped thinking about him and I'll miss him always. He will forever hold a special place in my heart."
