ATHENS, Ga. — A longtime, ardent supporter of Georgia football held up his cellphone. He’d just received a text message from a representative of the Classic City Collective, and he was sharing it with his buddies in the neighborhood cul-de-sac.
“We need everybody to step it up,” the message read. “We’re getting our (expletive) heads kicked in.”
That would be kicked in, as in on the recruiting trail.
