Georgia Bulldogs sophomore defensive lineman Jamaal “Jah” Jarrett plans to enter the transfer portal after spending two seasons with the program. During his time with the Bulldogs, Jarrett appeared in 16 games and recorded nine tackles.
Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 350 pounds, Jarrett was considered a developmental prospect entering college. In his first season, he played in five games, including a bowl game, while retaining his redshirt. Despite limited action, he made an impact and recorded at least one tackle in four of those five appearances.
In his second year, Jamaal Jarrett took on a larger role in Georgia’s defensive line rotation, particularly early in the season when injuries hit the unit. He appeared in 11 of the Bulldogs’ 13 games before the College Football Playoff but managed just three tackles during the season.
