Fans of the ever-talented Suranne Jones and the series Gentleman Jack won't have to wait much longer as the return of the popular BBC iPlayer series is imminent.
Season two of Gentleman Jack has been announced for April 2022, as HBO Max posted a teaser trailer on their social media accounts on Thursday afternoon.
The popular series, based on the true story of Anne Lister, was rebooted for a second season, which is now set to come out in the April of this year.

HBO Max tweeted the following: "The true story of a true original continues. #GentlemanJack returns to @HBOMax and @BBCiPlayer this April."
In the teaser trailer, Suranne stars as the incomparable Anne Lister, who defies society's expectation of women in the 1800's by taking a keen interest in medicine and mathematics, and also having a loving relationship with another woman.

The first, and now second season, will delve into Lister's relationships with her family, servants, tenants and industrial rivals, and would-be wife.
The real-life Anne Lister's story was recorded in her diaries, and the most intimate details of her life are revealed for the series.
Anne's love interest Ann Walker is played by Sophie Rundle, and she features heavily in the trailer, often locked in a loving embrace with Suranne's character.
Fans flocked to social media to celebrate the announcement of the second season, with one Twitter user writing: "OMG it's happening!"
Another wrote: "BEST SHOW IN THE WORLD IS BACK."
And a third said: "I can't wait!"
