Gemma Collins was forced to go onto a drip after a virus made her to cancel filming obligations and collapse.
The television personality has been battling a virus from the start of the month and said she "wouldn't wish it upon her worst enemy." Gemma is currently in Wales filming More Than Daffs and Taffs and tried her best to push through but admitted it was a struggle.
Despite her best efforts, the TOWIE star succumbed to the virus as her body was "having none of it." Speaking to OK! she said: "I have been so ill I cannot tell you.

"My workload has been a lot, but I've had a virus. I've been really, really, really unwell. I literally had to film up in Wales and I was very unwell.
"I had to call the doctor out and the doctor said to me, 'Look I'm going to give you medicine but I actually think this is a virus and it's not going to work.' Basically, I've been on drips. Rami nearly had to take me to the hospital on Saturday night because I was collapsing on the floor. Literally, it was really really bad whatever I've had, it's been awful."
The "mystery illness" has persevered for over two weeks but is appearing to ease up after Gemma told her fans she was on the mend. Sharing a post to Instagram, glowing in a sun hat and bikini, the caption said: "Omg I’ve been so ill but today I’m starting to feel like me again!"
