Gemma Collins looked completely unrecognisable as her childhood friend shared a major throwback snap of them on a night out.
The former The Only Way Is Essex star turned 41 on Monday, and to celebrate, her long-time friend Vicky Young posted old snapshots of Gemma from her younger days.
“Happy birthday to this beaut I am proud to say to is one of my oldest besties,” the fitness instructor wrote.
“37 years of friendship, laughter and tears! Beautifull (sic) inside and out, always giving off such positive energy when she is around, and a fab aunty to my boys, have the best day loveyou lots,” Vicky added.
In the photos, Gemma can be seen wearing a cream halterneck top, and holding a bottle of beer, as she smiles for the camera alongside her friend.
And in another, the fresh-faced TV star beams at the camera on another night out.
One of Gemma and Vicky’s school friends commented on the snaps, and wrote: “I need to try and dig out the old pics - our school disco ones would be funny haha.”
While Gemma didn’t seem impressed with the throwback snaps, and said she would “reply fully” when she had woken up properly.
On Monday, the star shared a video of her showcasing her trim figure, as she told her fans and followers on Instagram she felt better than ever as she celebrated her birthday.
In the clip, the star’s weight loss was evident in a black polka dot swimsuit, and her blonde hair in a loose ponytail.
“I've been working so hard the past couple of weeks, shaping up. But do you know what? I made it to 41, I feel fit, I feel good,” she shared.
“I want to say thank you for all your lovely birthday messages. I've been at a spa, I've been working out, been eating well, I've been exercising and it's all showing,” Gemma proudly added.
In the caption, the reality star hinted at her hopes for a baby in the year ahead.
“All I need is a little GC and my life will be very fulfilled and complete, please god,” Gemma wrote.
The TV star recently announced she was set to marry Rami Hawash, after the businessman popped the question, and the couple are busily planning their upcoming nuptials.
Gemma and Rami previously dated more than seven years ago, and rekindled their romance in lockdown last year.
