Gemma Atkinson has shared an honest post about missing her fiance Gorka Marquez while he's on tour. The 37-year-old Hits Radio presenter revealed that Gorka has left for the Strictly Come Dancing - The Professionals tour which comes to Salford's The Lowry theatre next Thursday.
She melted fans' hearts on Instagram as she revealed their daughter Mia's reaction to her professional dancer daddy being away, saying the two-year-old asked if she could walk to London to see him. Followers rushed to share their own stories about missing their loved ones while they're away working.
"Missing Gorks at home these spring nights. He left for the tour the day we landed back from Tenerife so it’s been face times with a cuppa the last two and a bit weeks," Gemma wrote with a snap of the couple smiling for the camera.

Gemma and Gorka met on Strictly in 2017 when she was paired with fellow pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec and he danced with singer Alexandra Burke on the BBC celeb dance contest. Gorka popped the question during a romantic dog walk on Valentine's Day last year.
He was recently cheered on in the audience by Gemma and Mia when his live show Firedance came to Manchester's The Bridgewater Hall. "Last Night was Special…" he typed on Instagram about the moment.
"To perform in Mcr is always amazing but for the first Time Mia and @glouiseatkinson came to watch me dance and in my head the only thing I could think of it was to make them both proud. To see her little face so lit up and how she say said Papa before our last dance. It was just special! I love you both princess and mummy."
Earlier this month they enjoyed a family holiday to Tenerife. As Gemma shared a video fans commented that little Mia seemed to have picked up an accent from her mum. And many noticed that Strictly Come Dancing professional Gorka, who is from Bilbao, Spain, also seemed to have adopted a 'Manchester twang.'
Arleyandme30 commented: "Gorka sounds like he’s picking up on Gemma’s accent. Beautiful family." And tlc_beautytherapy said: "Love the Manchester accent and the bag think Gorka’s getting a Manchester twang too."
