Gemma Atkinson has hit back at vile trolls who called her 'tubby' as she prepares to welcome her second child.
The former Hollyoaks actress, 38 is engaged to Strictly's Gorka Marquez, 32, who she shares daughter Mia, three, with.
Gemma is known for her love of keeping fit and often post photos of her working out, however she's recently been hit by criticism from those she calls "p***ks on Twitter ".
Speaking about how she felt after being told she'd 'let herself go,' she said: "I'm growing and creating life. My son. And for that blessing, I'll take all of the above and more, including the p***ks on Twitter.
"It's always guys who [post offensive comments] and I always think: 'Would they say that to their mum when they were expecting?
"Ultimately, whether you're carrying a bigger bump or a smaller bump, you're going to get it [negative comments] because there's always going to be someone who's not happy with how you look. It blows my mind that they care so much about someone else's body," reports The Sun.
Gemma and Gorka announced they were expecting a son earlier this year in news which delighted their fans.
The actress says she was relieved her beau decided to skip the Strictly tour at the beginning of the year to support her through the early stages of her pregnancy.
However, fans thought he'd quit the show altogether.
Speaking to Fabulous magazine, she said: “I was very fortunate that Gorka was off for the whole of January. It was great having him at home on the days where I was super-tired. The Strictly team were fantastic letting him not do the tour, because he didn’t want to be away when I was quite poorly.
"But it was bizarre, because we were reading comments saying that he’d been axed and was leaving the show. I was like: ‘Oh no, people think you’ve been dropped.’ He said: ‘I don’t care.’ He doesn’t bother about anything like that.”
Gemma has revealed Gorka's schedule will continue to revolve around her pregnancy as they await the arrival of their second baby.
The plan is for the Spanish-born star to do the Strictly Come Dancing : The Professionals tour in May, before taking leave in June and July - when the baby is due.
Gemma added Gorka hopes to start the new show in August when he'll find out which celebrity he's been partnered with.
