Gemma Atkinson appears to have earned her fans' sympathy after she shared how her sister has got payback with a gift for her daughter - 20 years after she brought her nephew something in a similar vain. The Hits Radio host took to Instagram on Thursday (October 20) to share a sweet video of three-year-old Mia.
The toddler could be seen in her pyjamas in her room at the family's Greater Manchester home. Mia, whose dad is Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez, could be wiggling her hips during the short clip as she played on a bright pink recorder.
"I bought my nephew a drum kit when he was 4," Gemma, 37, began to explain. "My sister’s bought Mia a recorder." The Bury-born former soap star then added: "Apparently it’s pay back! A big sister never forgets… even 20 yrs later."
While Gemma added a crying laughing emoji to her post, completely seeing the funny side of her sister's antics, while her celebrity pals also found it hilarious while pointing out Mia's moves. Gemma's fiance Gorka was among the first to comment, writing: "Hips don’t lie," alongside a string of love heart eye emojis and crying laughing emojis.
Gemma's Hits Radio co-star and current Strictly star Fleur East replied: "Her hips are amazing!!" Strictly pro dancer and Gorka's touring partner Karen Hauer posted multiple crying laughing emojis and wrote: "Her little shake." Presenter Ore Oduba also posted multiple a flurry of laughing emojis before simply adding: "FFS."
Meanwhile, Sarah Merrygold, who recently married JLS singer Aston Merrygold, added: "I made the mistake of buying Grayson one a few years back too." And while it appears Gemma's followers had sympathy too, Mia did steal the show with her moves.
@jobenjy77 shared: "Oh you have my sympathy, ours used to disappear. I find the back of the radiator to be the best place." @emmylou2017 commented: "The wiggle!!! (Recommend ear plugs or ‘losing’ the recorder!!)." @misschips82 wrote: "Love the hip wiggle. Must take after her mum."

Last week Gorka had his fans cooing as he posted a sweet video of himself and his fiancée Gemma. The dancer is currently busy training for another week on Strictly Come Dancing but being partnered with Helen Skelton means he can still spend time at home as she is also based up north.
It was another early start for Gorka and Gemma as they headed to train in their home gym. But it appears Gemma, who met Gorka when starring in the BBC One dance show in 2017, had a case of the Strictly bug and put in a request to her husband-to-be.
"When she asks me to teach her the Vienesse Waltz at 6am," Gorka, 34, captioned a video to his thousands of followers, showing him and the Hits Radio host waltzing around their gym. But Gemma, 37, was in a bit of a panic as she worried about her towel, which was wrapped around her body, falling off.
"Helen, I don't know how you do this," she commented as her man helped her sort out her towel. "I'm frustrated with him already." As her partner gave instructions, Gemma said: "I can't," as she smiled and giggled away around the room in her man's arms
"Why?? @glouiseatkinson," added in his caption over his wife-to-be's request. "Ps: don’t judge our outfits," he then added. Countryfile host Helen, 39, was quick to respond. She said: "Love this," without referencing Gemma's cheeky comment about Gorka. Alison Hammond also replied, simply writing: "Adorable."
Fellow Strictly pro Karen Hauer, who Gorka will be touring with again next year in their own show, added a string of crying laughing emojis and wrote: "yes!" And Gemma's Hits Radio co-star and Gorka's fellow Striclty competitor also posted a bunch of laughing emojis before adding: "loving the outfit Gorka! Hahaaa," referring to his skin-tight, wrestling-inspired attire which showed off his toned abs.
