GLASGOW Caledonian University (GCU) faces widespread disruption on Thursday as, for the first time in its history, all four campus trade unions take strike action on the same day.
The University and College Union (UCU), Educational Institute of Scotland (EIS) and Unison have already taken industrial action over plans to cut jobs, despite the university reporting an underlying operating surplus of £12.6 million and cash reserves of almost £89m.
