Gatwick Airport fuel issue resolved following summer holiday disruption fears

An issue which caused a shortage of fuel at Gatwick Airport over the weekend has been resolved, according to officials.

The airport had issued an alert to pilots instructing them to load up fuel at other airports where possible while en-route.
