James Montgomery 6
Had very little to do but question marks over Jamie Cooke's opener. Pulled off a quick reaction save to deny Jack Hunter in the second-half to keep the score down.
Robbie Tinkler 6
Steady away at the back and one of few who looked composed.

Louis Storey 6
Culpable for the opener along with Montgomery and looked off the pace by his usual standards.
Kenton Richardson 6
His usual composed self and did well to manage as long as he did after such a long time out.
Owen Bailey 6
Had to play in a right-wing back role due to injuries and players being cup tied. Didn't impact the game in the way he would if operating in central midfield.
Kamil Conteh 6
Played as a number 10 and didn't get in the game enough.
Carl Magnay 6
Another who played out of position, moving from centre-back into central midfield. Tireless work ethic but struggled to get back when Halifax broke.
Dan Ward 6
Grafted hard as left-wing back but didn't offer enough going forward.
Adam Campbell 7
Gateshead didn't get him in the game enough first-half but bright when they did. Like Olley, looked like Gateshead's best way into the match.
Aaron Martin 6
Battled hard up front but had little to feed off. Didn't look like scoring all afternoon.
Greg Olley 7
Gateshead's standout player along with Adam Campbell. Wanted the ball at every opportunity and looked to make the difference.
