Gary Neville has taken aim at Arsenal supporters after defeat to Crystal Palace on Monday night gave Manchester United a lifeline in the push for Champions League qualification. Goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta, Jordan Ayew and former United winger Wilfried Zaha sealed a famous Eagles' win.
Now seventh in the Premier League standings, it had until that point been a weekend to forget for United as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Leicester on Saturday afternoon. After that there were victories for West Ham and fellow contenders Tottenham over Everton and Newcastle respectively.

During his playing days, Neville was used to winding up Arsenal fans as the two clubs fought for supremacy during the 1990s and early 2000s. It was a rivalry which defined the Premier League at that time.
Having seemingly received messages from Gunners after United were held, footballer turned pundit Neville saw a chance to hit back and he, ultimately, took it. Addressing his 5.1million followers on Twitter, the 46-year-old posted: "Not so many Arsenal fans on my timeline tonight."
