Match of the Day host Gary Lineker has dismissed Jurgen Klopp's claim 2-0 is the most overturned lead in "the history of football".
Liverpool welcome Inter Milan to Anfield on Tuesday evening for the second leg of their Champions League tie, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.
Many expect the Reds to progress having already beaten the Italian champions. Liverpool have won all seven of their European ties this season.
But Klopp is concerned about Inter, insisting his side are in a precarious position.
"The danger everyone knows about - 2-0 is the lead turned over the most in the history of football," said the Liverpool manager at a press conference on Monday afternoon.

Replying to Klopp on Twitter, Lineker wrote: "I suspect statistics will not support this."
Klopp is aiming to win his second Champions League title this season and is refusing to get carried away, despite Liverpool's strong position in the two-legged tie.
Fellow Premier League outfits Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea are also in strong positions heading into their respective second legs.
Klopp went on to say: "If you are at half-time and two up and you think you are already through, then you are already on the wrong path.
"The result was a lot better than I expected, really tough tie and difficult game to play... they are a really good team, they don't come here as tourists.
"They want to attack the game. Let's see what we can get from it."
Klopp could be without Thiago Alcantara (hamstring), Joel Matip (illness) and Roberto Firmino (hip) for the Inter game, although they all trained on Sunday.
"Bobby will be fine but we have to see, he was out for a longer time," added Klopp. "Joel was only [out for] three to four days, so is fine. Bobby might need something else."
Liverpool have already won one trophy this season, beating Chelsea on penalties to lift the EFL Cup at Wembley last month.
The Reds have a slim chance of becoming the first English club to win the quadruple this season, sitting six points behind Manchester City in the league with a game in hand.
In terms of the FA Cup, they face a quarter-final trip to either Nottingham Forest or Huddersfield. The two Championship teams play each other on Monday evening.
"It was good for us to win Carabao Cup [EFL Cup], first competition possible for us to win," said midfielder Fabinho when asked about the quadruple.
"The way we won the cup was special for everyone. When you win one trophy, it's normal people talking about Liverpool winning four, but I'm not thinking too much about this.
"It's really hard to win three or four trophies. It was hard to recover after the Chelsea final.
"But the players who played against Norwich and West Ham did really well and we are still alive in FA Cup and in fight for Premier League.
"But tomorrow is Inter. And we have to focus on game after game."
