Leinster star Garry Ringrose was just happy to get out of Kingspan stadium with a win.
For much of the game, Leinster bossed proceedings and in the first half in particular, looked a class above the opposition.
But a string of errors led to Ulster staging a late comeback, with Leinster thankful to hold onto their slender seven point lead until the final whistle.

"Yeah, real happy to get a win here, incredibly tough place to go against an incredibly tough team in Ulster," said Ringrose to RTE after the game.
"They got the better of us twice last year so, we knew it was going to be a tough ask to come here and win.
"And with the conditions like they were I thought we started well.
"Obviously they got the ascendency in the second half, but real proud of the effort of the boys to hold them out when it was tense at the end there."
It wouldn't take a great analyst to figure out why Ulster got the upperhand in the second half. The home sides set-piece was far more accurate in the second period, while their rolling maul caused Leinster problems throughout the final 40.
"They went to their maul and got a bit of ascendancy there," said the Leinster star.
"And then all of these simple little penalties to just give them access into the game which piled up and gave them the opportunities they got.
"We're lucky that in the corner there they knocked that ball to give us a bit of relief to get back out again.
"The messages were try and keep it simple, play down here.
"But, that was what we were saying but not necessarily doing.
"So definitely a lot of lessons we can take from that game to be better if we find ourselves in the same situation."
