England manager Gareth Southgate would have to be prepared to walk away from one of the most lucrative deals for a national team manager should he make the decision to walk away from his post following the Three Lion's exit from the 2022 World Cup.
Prior to the kick-off of the first ever winter World Cup in Qatar, it was revealed that Southgate was the second-highest earning manager at the tournament, behind only Hansi Flick of Germany.
The 52-year-old's latest deal, which he renewed in 2021 to run through to after the European Championships in 2024, reportedly sees him earn just over £5 million-per-year - equivalent to around £100,000-per-week.
