Tottenham will have two representatives in the England squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Harry Kane will lead his country out at the winter tournament in the middle east and he will be joined by another familiar face from Hotspur Way.
Spurs teammate Eric Dier will also be on the plane to Qatar after a series of fine performances at the heart of the Tottenham defence under Antonio Conte this season.
Dier has looked a little shaky in recent weeks, but that may be as a result of the number of high-profile games he has played. he will battle it out for a starting spot in the heart of Southgate's defence with the likes of Harry Maguire, John Stones, Conor Coady and Ben White.

Kane, as the Three Lions captain, was always going to be in the squad, with the Tottenham striker hoping to become England's all-time leading scorer while at the tournament. He is just two goals behind Wayne Rooney ahead of the start of the tournament.
England take on Iran in their first game in just 11 days' time, with the Premier League going on hiatus after this weekend's round of matches. Kane and Dier will join up with the rest of the England squad after the weekend as they head out to Qatar for the tournament that is taking place in the winter for the very first time.
