Gareth Southgate is "convinced" he should stay on as England manager and is ready to inform the FA of his wish to fulfil his contract before Christmas.
The England boss was reportedly considering his future after the Three Lions were knocked out of the World Cup at the quarter-final stage by France.
It has been reported by the Telegraph that the 52-year-old will lead England into Euro 2024 as they look to win their first major trophy since the World Cup in 1966.

England have seen their fortunes rise under the guidance of Southgate after reaching the semi-finals of the World Cup in 2018 - losing narrowly to Croatia before being beaten in a penalty by Italy in the final of Euro 2020.
The Three Lions were unfortunate in their loss to reigning champions France in Qatar with Harry Kane missing an 85th minute penalty to take the game to extra-time and Southgate seemingly feels he can still take the team further.
Liverpool 's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson were involved in the World Cup squad while Jordan Pickford and Conor Coady were members from Everton 's squad.
