Gardai have arrested a man in his 40s after seizing a large sum of cash in Co Louth on Wednesday morning.
Officers attached to the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau made the arrest on July 6, as part of Operation Triassic, a money-laundering investigation into a West African Organised Crime Group.
Detectives arrived on the scene to conduct the searches which resulted in the seizure of €40,000 in cash.
