Gardaí are seeking the driver of a white Volkswagen taxi in relation to a fatal assault in Cork City last month.
Florence O'Sullivan died following an assault that took place on March 11 at Glentrasna Court, Cork City.
The 68-year-old Cork man died on April 6 at Cork University Hospital (CUH) following the injuries he sustained in the assault.
A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardaí at Watercourse Road investigating the fatal assault of a man in Cork City on the 11th March 2023 are renewing their appeal for information.
"Florence O’Sullivan, aged 68, died at Cork University Hospital on the 6th of April 2023 from injuries sustained in the course of an incident at Glentrasna Court, The Glen, Cork City on the 11th March, 2023."
Investigating gardaí have renewed their appeal to the public for help and information and continue to appeal for witnesses and those that may be in possession of video footage, to come forward.
They are also appealing for information on a white Volkswagen taxi that was observed in the Glentransna Court area between 8pm and 8:20pm on Saturday, 11th March 2023.
Investigating gardaí in Cork are asking the driver of this taxi to make contact with them.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact the incident room at Watercourse Road Garda Station on 021 455 8260, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station," a garda spokesperson said.
