Gardai have launched an investigation after a hijacking incident in Co Kildare on Sunday.
The vehicle was taken from the car park of a Co-Op in Monasterevin.
A female passenger was present in the car at the time of the incident but managed to exit before the vehicle left the scene.

No injuries were reported.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating the unauthorised taking of a vehicle from the car park of a Co-Op in Monasterevin, Co. Kildare on Sunday, 15th May 2022.
“A female passenger was present in the vehicle during this incident. This passenger had exited the vehicle before it left the scene.
“No injuries reported and no arrests have been made at this time.
“Investigations are ongoing.”
