Gardai are investigating the discovery of a woman’s body in Kilkenny city.
The woman, aged in her 50s was discovered at a property in the city on Monday.
In a statement gardai said: “Gardai are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a body of a female in her 50s at a property in Kilkenny on Monday.
“Her body has been removed to Waterford University Hospital where a post-mortem will take place at a later date, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.”
Gardai are not treating her death as suspicious at this time.
