Gardai say they continue to investigate “all the circumstances” surrounding the death of a man who was allegedly attacked in Drogheda.
In an update today, officers confirmed that a post-mortem has been concluded but the results are not being released for operational reasons.
They are continuing to appeal for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.

It comes after the man, named locally as Brian Reynolds, was allegedly attacked by a number of men armed with hammers on Thursday evening.
The thugs are understood to have broken into the property Mr Reynolds was staying at in Rathmullan Park in the Co Louth town.
Mr Reynolds was allegedly savagely beaten by the thugs. He was found with serious injuries and taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where he died on Christmas Eve.
In an update today, a Garda spokesperson said: “Gardai are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding of the death of a man who was discovered in County Louth with serious injuries on Thursday 22nd December 2022 and subsequently passed away on Saturday 24th December 2022.
“The post mortem has been concluded, the results of which are not being released for operational reasons. A full technical examination of the scene has been conducted by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.
“Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information that can assist with this investigation to come forward. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Drogheda Garda Station on 041 9874200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.”
