Gardaí eager to speak to taxi driver amid 'misinformation' over alleged assault on woman in Finglas

Gardaí are looking to speak to a taxi driver for information regarding an alleged assault of a woman in Finglas last Friday morning.

The incident has been circulating on social media with unverified claims being made and Gardaí have said they are looking to speak to a driver who took a fare on January 27.

Two passengers were driven from a location in Dublin’s south inner city and taken to Cappagh Road in Finglas, Dublin 11 after being picked up at around 1.30am, Dublin Live reports.
