Social media users were left baffled by a sign in a Centra store claiming Animal Bars had been banned at the request of gardai.
Shoppers at Whelton's Centra at Denroche's Cross off Magazine Road, Cork spotted the odd signage, and the photo soon spread across social media.
The image of the sign, which has gone viral on Twitter, states: "We no longer sell Animal Bars. Request from gardai."
