A woman was treated for facial injures after a "disturbance" on a bus in Cork city, CorkBeo has reported. Gardai were called to Grand Parade after getting a report of an incident involving a group of females at around 3am on Tuesday morning.
A spokesperson for the gardai said that they "brought the situation under control" and that "all the circumstances" surrounding what happened are still under investigation. A woman in her 20s was taken to the Mercy Hospital with cuts to her head.
As of now no arrests have been made, and those involved have been identified by investigators who've asked anyone with information to contact them at Anglesea St.

The spokesperson said: "At approximately 3am on Tuesday on Jun 21, 2022, Gardaí from Anglesea Street attended following reports of a disturbance involving a group of females on a bus at Grand Parade in Cork City.
"Garda attended at the scene and brought the situation under control. In the course of inquires at the scene, a number of parties understood to be involved in the incident were identified by Gardaí.
"A woman in her 20s was provided with medical treatment for facial injuries at the scene and taken to Mercy Hospital.
"No arrests were made. All of the circumstances of the incident are under investigation and enquires are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Anglesea Street Garda Station."
