Gardaí appeal for witnesses due to brutal Galway assault that left man with serious injuries in hospital

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses as they continue investigating a serious assault on a man that occurred on Good Friday in Galway City.

According to a spokesperson for the Gardaí, a man in his early 20s was seriously assaulted in the Raven's Terrace area by a group of males.

Following the incident, which occurred in the early hours of Friday, April 7 at around 12:55 am, the man was taken to University Hospital Galway where he is currently in a serious but stable condition.
