Gardai are investigating after a corpse was brought into a Carlow post office by two men.

Declan Haughney and a pal walked his uncle Peadar Doyle from his home on Pollerton Road to Hosey’s Post Office to collect his pension.

The pair claim they didn’t realise he was dead by the time they got to the counter.
