A man was arrested after €77,000 worth of cocaine and €2,000 in suspected cannabis was seized in north Dublin.
The drugs were found by gardai conducting a checkpoint in the Darndale area on Friday night.
They stopped the car at around 8:30pm and the car was searched.
A man is his 40's was arrested at the scene and taken to Coolock garda station where he was held under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drugs Trafficking) Act, 1996.
A garda spokesman said that the drugs will now be sent for further analysis.
He said:: "The man has since been released and a file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
"Investigations ongoing."
