Game of Thrones fans have many reasons to be excited as the prequel to the George RR Martin-penned hit show, House of Dragon is set to air soon. To celebrate the new series the famous Iron Throne is going on tour around the UK and is coming to Cardiff.
House of Dragon will air on Sunday, August 21 on HBO Max in the US and it will air at the same time in the UK on Sky Atlantic, too, and fans will be able to get their first taste of the series by getting the chance to rule from the Iron Throne. Forged by the first king of the Targaryen dynasty, King Aegon, from the swords of his defeated enemies, The Iron Throne is the stuff of legend for Game of Thrones fans.
The Iron Throne has visited Cardiff before but now with a new look, the throne will be back in Cardiff on Wednesday, August 17, and Thursday, August 18. You will be able to visit the throne at St David's shopping centre. You can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the newsletter here.
