Guwahati: India head coach Gautam Gambhir criticised the Guwahati pitch after his side chased down 406 against the West Indies in the second ODI, saying there needed to be "a bit of more contest between bat and ball" and arguing that conditions offering little assistance to bowlers were "not fair".
India completed the highest successful run chase in their ODI history on Wednesday, reaching the target in just 43.3 overs to win by eight wickets and seal the three-match series.
