Gabriel Martinelli has revealed that Arsenal teammate Gabriel Jesus is one of the best people he has ever met in the footballing world
Jesus was sidelined for nearly four months after sustaining a knee injury during Brazil's World Cup campaign in Qatar back in November. During that time, the north London club, along with Adidas, filmed a mini-series documenting the striker's rehabilitation progress.
In one clip, winger Martinelli is filmed heaping praise on his teammate, hailing Jesus' leadership ability within Mikel Arteta's dressing room. "In this month that he was out, he was always talking to me and with the other boys, trying to help," the 21-year-old told the Come Back Stronger documentary.

"And as I said, that’s who he is and he’s a lovely person that tries to help everyone. It’s so important to have him here.
"I knew from the beginning, but when he came, I realised that he’s a great guy, a great player. I’ve said it many times, on and off pitch, he is one of the best people that I’ve met in football."
In Jesus' absence, Martinelli was one of the many Arsenal players to step up. In fact, the young attacker is the club's top scorer in the Premier League this season, netting 13 league goals. That kind of form has helped his side build an eight-point gap over second-placed Manchester City, although Pep Guardiola and co do have a game in hand on title rivals.
